Heat & Serve Ultimate Cooked Italian Sausage (5:1) is a prebrowned, fully cooked link made with a natural casing. Each link is approximately 5.75 inches long. This product is packaged in (2) 5 pound resealable bags and frozen.

COOKING DIRECTIONS

Cooking times may vary. All times based upon fully thawed product unless otherwise noted. Serving and holding temp should be minimum 140°F.

commercial microwave

Place 1 to 2 frozen links in a microwave safe dish. Cook on high heat, 55-85 seconds. Additional links require increased time to cook.

convection oven

Preheat oven to 350°F. Place thawed links on a sheet tray, add 2 cups of water and bake 10-12 minutes.

flat top grill

Place thawed links onto a 350°F grill. Pour 1/2 cup of water over links. Cover with lid. Grill for 2-1/2 minutes, then remove lid. Turn links, pour 1/2 cup of water over links. Cover, then grill additional 2-1/2 minutes.
